I have been honored by Rutgers University as a profile graduate of the Class of 2008.

Rutgers-Newark University has enriched my intellectual and professional life more than I could have ever imagined from the first time I set foot onto campus. Nearly every professor took a personal interest in my dreams and goals, and the fruits do not remain unrecognized.

Rather, I am pleasantly overwhelmed by the response to my personalized approach to my degree, and hope that it inspires others to do the same. And now, I realize that instead of the pressure and jitters that would inevitably accompany making the speech, I can truly relax and revel and boo-hoo with my family and enjoy the ceremony. I will definitely be wearing waterproof mascara.
